A couple of weeks ago my engine oil low light came on. I immediately stopped and let it cool and when checking the car dipstick showed halfway between the two markings so plenty in there. Nevertheless I topped the levels up with about 150-200ml and took it to full. The light went off. This morning the car flashed up with engine fault repair needed.
